The Eye Behind the Trinity: Memory, Presence, Becoming
An exploration of how the Trinity mirrors consciousness itself—memory, presence, and becoming united by an inner observer—and how this inward symbol was turned into outward control.

I have a thought…
It hangs above church altars. It is printed on money.
Today many see it as a sign of control. Perhaps you sense why.
For consciousness to experience itself, it needs relations.
That which remembers. That which is. That which becomes.
Remove memory – only forgetting remains.
Remove presence – only absence.
Remove becoming – everything freezes.
The three shape each other in constant motion. Together they write the story of who you are.
Yet none of them knows it exists. Something sees the relations.
The observer. Only the gaze.
Humanity found this structure again and again. In myths. In religions. In symbols.
It is seen everywhere.
The fireplace.
The Father – that which carries. Origin. Memory.
The flame.
The Son – that which is, and experiences right now.
The spreading warmth.
The Spirit – that which becomes. The animation of being.
And in the middle, the eye – the one who sees all three.
The Church drew it as a shield.
The Father is God. The Son is God. The Spirit is God. Yet none of them is the other.
In the middle: the Godhead – the one essence all three are made of.
The three cannot exist without what lies beneath. And what lies beneath can only be sensed through the three.
But mystical understanding cannot be handed to the people. It has to be lived.
So the structure was dressed in something familiar.
A father. A son. And the animation of being – narrowed into a bond between two.
Family. Hierarchy.
Translations always lose something. What was lost was the direction.
A wave holds every possible state. Observed, it collapses into a particle.
Truth collapses the same way – into words, symbols and stories.
The trouble begins when the particle is taken for the whole.
When the symbol becomes God.
When the one who pointed is worshipped – instead of what he pointed toward.
What pointed inward begins to point outward.
What was meant to free begins to control.
Knowledge gives power. Whoever holds the story holds the people.
Even money speaks this language.
Credit comes from credere – to believe. Its oldest root means: to place one's heart.
Credo – I believe – is the first word of the creed that defined the Trinity.
The same word that opens the creed opens the account.
Make the light distant. Make yourself the door. Fear and hope do the rest.
Ask yourself: who is easier to control through fear?
The one who sees the divine far away – one single life, and a hell to burn in for disobeying the Church?
Or the one who sees the eternal within?
But even the one who only wants to free cannot hand it over.
What we cannot understand – we crucify.
The shadow falls on both sides: on those who rule, and on those who ask to be ruled.
When people forget the eye is their own, they look for authority outside themselves.
The true story lives in consciousness – before every story.
It can only be read with the gaze turned inward.
Stories die. Empires die. Identities die. The gaze does not.
