Insight, Knowledge, and Wisdom
A short reflection on the difference between insight (which arises through stillness and openness), knowledge (which hunts and seizes), and wisdom (which watches both without losing sight of the beholder).

I have a thought…
Insight is a shy creature.
The wilder you chase it, the deeper into the thicket it hides.
But remain still. Let the forest's edge fall silent.
When the time is ripe – it will seek you out.
Knowledge is a predator.
It hunts, and sometimes catches its prey.
The prey is all it sees, in a wilderness where all else is erased.
Insight is born of opening.
Knowledge of seizing.
Together they are transformed.
Wisdom is an owl.
Its hunt is waiting.
It listens.
And sees both the hunter and the hidden.
Who is the beholder?
